Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi – Ngorongoro Crater – Moshi/Arusha
07:00 hrs: Pickup from your hotel in Moshi Town and begin the scenic 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for an incredible game drive across its diverse landscapes — from grasslands and swamps to acacia forests and soda lakes.
Encounter a variety of animals including elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and with luck, the endangered black rhino. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in the flamingos, ostriches, and many more.
Picnic lunch at a designated spot inside the crater with beautiful views.
15:00 hrs: Depart the crater and drive back to Moshi, arriving in the late evening for hotel drop-off (or Arusha on request).
